Every Prometheus Legacy ELD retires on November 1, 2026 — and that date is the best thing to happen to your fleet in years. What replaces it isn't a like-for-like swap. It's real-time tracking, live engine diagnostics, and ELD compliance on one device, with an AI operations layer included. From $32.99 per truck, nothing upfront.
Free installation· Full 36-month warranty· Promotional rate ends with the EOL date
An hours-of-service record and a position from the driver's phone. It kept you legal. It was never going to tell you a turbo was failing, that a tank drained on a dark ramp, or that a load left with a quarter of the trailer empty.
The same trucks report engine condition, fuel behavior, driver risk, and compliance into one record — with AI agents that draft the fix and stage the action. The retirement date isn't a cost. It's the day the equipment finally catches up to what you've been asked to manage.
The leap
Legacy did the one job it was built for. Flip the switch to see everything the next platform does with the same eight vehicles.
The hardware
One device on the truck, reporting straight from the vehicle — not from a phone in someone's pocket. Telematics, diagnostics, ELD, and maintenance intelligence on the same connection.
Location, routes, and activity report from the vehicle itself. Visibility survives a dead phone, a lost signal, and a driver who never opened the app.
Live diagnostic trouble codes and engine performance data straight off the truck, so a developing fault surfaces before it becomes a roadside failure.
Hours of service, compliant digital logs, DVIR, and simplified regulatory reporting — fewer violations and less audit exposure. Driver app runs on iOS and Android.
Speeding, harsh braking, hard acceleration, and idling tracked per driver — the record you need to coach performance instead of guessing at it.
Service alerts triggered by usage, mileage, and diagnostic indicators — feeding XShop for inspections, work orders, service history, and true cost of ownership.
One dashboard across vehicles, drivers, assets, cargo, and refrigeration — plus mobile access, so dispatch decides on live data rather than phone calls.
Included for Legacy customers · no extra charge
Alerts aren't outcomes. Orchestrator gives each part of your operation an AI agent that filters thousands of signals down to the few that matter, drafts the fix, and stages the action — escalating to you only when the call is genuinely yours. Every agent reads the same record for each truck and prices every tradeoff in one currency: cost per mile.
Live tank levels, drain and theft events flagged against route context, per-unit MPG anomaly alerts, state mileage built from the GPS trail, export-ready quarterly IFTA across 48 states, and an AI optimizer that ranks fuel stops by true price after the detour.
Reads each engine's true condition — DTC codes, PTO cycles, oil-temp trends, brake wear — and scores failure probability up to 14 days out, scheduling the repair before a failure strands a load and auto-generating the work order.
Available to add
The AI-native TMS that configures itself to your operation — intermodal, waste, OTR, last-mile. Flags the load that won't make it with the reassignment already proposed, and prices true margin at dispatch.
Watches your SAFER profile, CSA standing across all seven BASIC categories, and DOT deadlines against your USDOT number — drafting every filing and response ready for review, then stopping at the approval gate. Nothing is filed without a human sign-off.
The instant a crash is detected it reconstructs what happened — fusing 100 Hz sensor data with onboard video, replaying it on photoreal 3D maps, and filing the FNOL to TruckerCloud and your carrier automatically. Fault is presented as evidence, never asserted.
Pricing
Every option puts the same XTrack gateway in the truck. What changes is who carries the hardware cost and how long the warranty runs.
One-time hardware cost. You own the device outright.
Device, service, and Orchestrator Core — one all-in rate.
Everything above, plus the AI dash camera your insurer is asking for.
Drag to your truck count. Figures are list pricing over the 36-month term.
Choosing the program over direct purchase keeps — in your pocket over three years, before installation is even priced. Separately, Prometheus publishes XFuel savings of $4,000–$8,000 per truck per year, which would be —–— a year across this fleet. That figure is a published estimate, not a guarantee — actual results vary by fleet, routes, and how the module is used.
If your insurer is asking for cameras
More carriers are being told by their insurers to put a forward-facing or dual camera in the cab — sometimes with the renewal riding on it. ProVision satisfies that requirement, and does considerably more than record.
Distracted driving, fatigue, phone usage, harsh braking, and lane departures detected on the device — with real-time alerts and driver scorecards for coaching before an incident, not after.
Instead of scrubbing hours of video, Time Capsule organizes and prioritizes the footage around the event — Prometheus measures this at up to 80% faster than traditional dashcam systems.
Dispatch pushes the clip straight to the driver's phone through the Prometheus Driver Mobile App. Your driver can show what happened before a citation is written or an inaccurate report is filed.
Scene photos, witness information, and certified incident details captured in the app — a complete accident report package that goes straight to the insurer.
$0 upfront · free installation
One line item covers the camera your insurer wants and the compliance and telematics you need anyway. Have a renewal date coming up? Send it to us and we'll build the schedule around it.

Once you're on ProHub, everything below reports into the same dashboard — trailers, cargo, refrigeration, maintenance. None of it was reachable from Legacy. All of it can be structured into a 36-month package whenever you're ready. Open one to see what it does.
Fleets have real-time visibility into vehicles and drivers, and almost none into the cargo. XCargo Vision turns the trailer into a monitored space — visual proof of what was loaded, when the doors opened, and how much room is left.
Traditional reefer monitoring tells you a temperature breach happened. XCool, powered by Greensee.AI, analyzes reefer data patterns to identify risk zones before the cargo is compromised — and lets you act on them without dispatching anyone.
Most fleets lose visibility the moment a trailer or a piece of equipment leaves the yard. XTrack Asset is rugged, battery-powered tracking built for long deployments in bad conditions; XTail hides the same capability inside the trailer's tail light assembly.
XTrack powers XShop, where the diagnostic data becomes actual maintenance work — inspections, work orders, and a cost record per vehicle you can make replacement decisions from.
Getting it done
Install slots are first-come, first-served and they compress as November gets closer. Fleets that book early pick their own dates.
Unit count, which option you're leaning toward, and whether insurance is asking for cameras.
A quote, the module configuration, and a proposed install schedule — usually back within a business day.
Installs staged around your routes and downtime, not ours. Reserve dates well before November 1.
Free on either 36-month program. Legacy hardware comes out, XTrack goes in.
ProHub access for your team, the driver app for your drivers, and Orchestrator Core switched on.
Questions we're already getting
Legacy devices reach end of life and are no longer supported after that date. Anything running on the Legacy platform moves to the current generation before then. Rather than treat that as a forced replacement, we've priced it as an upgrade: the 36-month program carries no upfront cost, free installation, a full three-year warranty, and Orchestrator Core included — capabilities Legacy could never have delivered at any price.
Not for tracking. The XTrack gateway reports position, diagnostics, and vehicle data directly from the truck, so your visibility no longer depends on whether a phone is charged, in signal, or open. Drivers still use the Prometheus Driver Mobile App for their ELD logs and DVIR — available on both iOS and Android — and, if you add ProVision, to receive incident video and file accident reports from the scene.
Included. XFuel, XFleet, and XELD come with the 36-month program and the ProVision Bundle at no additional charge for Legacy customers — there's no separate software line item. XDispatch, XCompliance, and XRoute are available as add-ons if you want them.
On either 36-month program, the equipment carries a full warranty for the entire term — if a device fails during those three years, it's covered. On direct purchase you own the hardware and it carries the standard equipment warranty instead.
Installs are scheduled around your operation and staged so trucks aren't sitting. Tell us your route patterns and downtime windows when you book and we'll build the schedule to fit them. Installation is free on both 36-month programs; on direct purchase it's quoted separately.
Yes. Plenty of fleets put the ProVision Bundle on the trucks their insurer is focused on and the base program on the rest. Tell us which units need what and we'll build it as one plan.
The promotional rate is tied to upgrades scheduled before November 1, 2026. The bigger constraint is install capacity — slots are first-come, first-served, and the calendar tightens considerably in the last few weeks.
Send us the basics and we'll come back with your upgrade plan, your pricing, and install dates you can actually hold.
Our upgrade desk has your details and will come back with pricing and install dates, usually within one business day.
